Foot & Ankle Rehabilitation

Foot and ankle rehabilitation is necessary when musculoskeletal structures of the foot and ankle are not functioning within their normal limits, often as a result of injury or surgery. Examples that are regularly seen at our clinic are ankle sprains, Lisfranc injuries and post-surgical cases.

The type of rehabilitation is unique to every individual patient and their injury. Often, rehabilitation involves a stretching and/or strengthening program for a patient to return to their pre-injury level. Orthotics may also often be used as part of rehabilitation at POD along with High Powered Laser & Shockwave Therapy.
